About the Entry
In early 2020, two NPR reporters decided to speak directly to kids. The coronavirus news was scary, confusing and unavoidable — even for the youngest children. Cory Turner interviewed experts and Malaka Gharib distilled the results into a comic and printable zine to explain to children what COVID-19 is and how to protect themselves.
