Lunch and Learn in D.C.
Lunch and Learn: Event Connects Reporters, Researchers in Washington, D.C.
Learn about the most cutting-edge research in higher education through a freewheeling discussion with researchers from across the country. Journalists based in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area will have a unique opportunity to mingle informally with scholars.
Join us for an in-person lunch with members of the American Educational Research Association’s Postsecondary Division on Wednesday, Sept. 27 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Eastern.
Attendees will have the opportunity to bond with colleagues over shared interests: Student learning & success; university leadership; faculty/academic freedom; and higher education policy/societal impact.
All professional journalists are welcome to pre-register for this event. EWA membership – which is free for journalists and students – is highly encouraged. The deadline to sign up is Friday, Sept. 22 at 12 p.m. Eastern.
Participants must have up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination and at least one booster (if eligible).
EWA thanks the Spencer Foundation for its support of this program.
