Pathways to Good Jobs
The Education Writers Association is pleased to announce that it will launch a training program to help journalists cover changes to the way postsecondary education is — or, too often, isn’t — launching students into good jobs.
Starting with a two-afternoon (Eastern time) virtual event Dec. 10-11, and continuing with monthly webinars into early 2021, EWA will gather some of the nation’s leading researchers and practitioners of career education as well as labor market experts and employers for a series of interactive and on-the-record webinars.
Journalists will be able to meet and interview sources, get training on new and underutilized data sets revealing earnings from career-oriented educational programs, and swap tips and ideas among themselves.
This program is free and open to any EWA journalist member, supporting community member, or student member. If you’re interested in this event but not an EWA member, you still have time to join. Membership for journalists is free.
