EWA Higher Education Seminar Fall 2023
The Education Writers Association will hold its Higher Education Seminar Sept. 7-8 at the University of California, Riverside.
The theme of this two-day event is “Great Expectations.” We will explore what students, families and the public expect of higher education institutions as it relates to access, equity and success.
Researchers, policymakers, practitioners, students and journalists will discuss urgent issues on the beat, including social mobility, the community college transfer process, the future of admissions and more. The seminar will also include popular sessions, such as data training and “How I Did the Story,” where fellow journalists share their advice.
Registration is currently open, and the event is for journalists only. Scholarships (see below) are available for journalist and student members in good standing.
